The first few hours of our trip were in the rain, so the top stayed up. Some how we made it on Route 66, and stopped at Gemini Giant to eat.

It did clear up and the rest of the day was clear. We made it to Parke Co., IN and decided to stay there for the night. This way we could drive through some covered bridges in the morning. We decided this in Rockville, IN, but everyplace was full, there was a motorcycle poker run in town. The 200+ motorcycles had the town packed. So we had to drive a ways before we found a room. We just wanted to stay close so we could still see the bridges in the morning. We finally found a place a couple miles away.
