Day 1, Friday 9/15
We started the day meeting Tom & Joan Frickie with plans to caravan towards The Gap. We started heading south and then met Dan & his Mom Sue Rodgers a little further down the road. We spent most of the morning on 4 lane roads, so there are not many pictures.
I started taking some pictures once the roads got a little twisty. These are some random shots as we drove some of the interesting roads/curves/whatever that we saw along the way.

We finally met up with the group at the motel.
While there we got a call from Bill Luxon saying he was on his way. Tom & Joan spent the night here, but we continued down the road another 1/2 hour and stayed at a different place since it was a little less expensive. We unpacked, went out to eat, came back, and got a call from Adam. He said he was leaving home and planned to arrive at The Gap about the same time as us.
After Adam's call we made plans to have breakfast at the place we could see out the door of our room & went nighty nite.
