I started the morning getting a shot of the Motel. Once again, the Miata looks out of place :)

Once packed we headed for our long 4 lane highway trip. If we are going to have to drive so far in on 4 lanes, at least it could be nice out so we can have the top down, but nope. It was rain for quite a while :( I figured since the top would be up I may as well use the computer to type as we drove. It is hard to see the screen when the top is down unless I have my computer hood to shadow the screen. So this ment that I didn't need the screen for a while. Then if it cleared up later I would just go along for the ride :)

As we pulled on to the interstate after a gas stop we got passed by a Miata.

We followed him for quite a while. It is sad when it is a highlight of long drive that we saw a car being placed on a flat bed & I take a picture of it :)

We finally pulled over for a break, and the Miata in front of us pulled over too. We ended up talking to him for quite a while. As a matter of fact when talking to him another fellow stopped by to look at my car & said he also has a Miata. He was in his mini van right now, but he had a 90 Miata at home. He to had repainted his car himself, and it was red with stripes. Stripes are cool! Not that I'm biased or anything :)

As we drove some of the last streaches through Indiana I started to see Trunk Monkey signs. I had seen them before & was watching for them this time. I wanted to stop at the dealership that made them to see if they had anything special outside. If you do not know what Trunk Monkey is, keep reading and you will find out.

Once we got there they where closed as it was Sunday, but we took some pictures
