The Motel served a continental breakfast, so we had breakfast today at the Motel. I had donuts & apple juice and Pat had muffins & coffee. It was all good :)

We thought about washing the car first thing, but it looked like rain, so we didn't. We did stop at every car place in town looking for a new supercharger belt though, but with no luck. Oh well, maybe the next town.

As we drove in the morning, we could see the clouds catching us. We stopped once and put the top up as it looked for sure we were going to get it.

We drove a couple miles, and it cleared. So I stopped and put it back down. Not much after that, it looked as if it was going to let loose so we stopped and put it up again.

It rained for quite a long time, but it did not matter much as we were driving straight roads as that is all Mississippi had. We were heading for twisties and the straights were the only things to get us there. The rain did wash all the dried bugs off for us :)

We stopped at more car places along the way and finally found one with a belt, well not really. We stopped at a Car Quest and they did not have one. But they did call around town until they found one for us. We decided to wait and put it on first thing tomorrow so the motor would be cool. Across the street from the NAPA that had the belt was Back Yard Burgers that looked good, so we stopped and ate.

It was very good, although Pat thinks it messed with her insides a little. She didn't feel exactly right the rest of the night after eating. The food tasted great though, and the sweet tea was extra sweet for some reason. Pat's blackened chicken was very good, and so were the waffle fries she had. My bacon burger was quite tasty and I had spicy fries with it. The waffles were better though, and I would have had them, but I could not under stand the what the lady at the counter was saying. So we got one of each. Oh yea, did I mention the sweet tea...mmmmmm tasty :)
