Day 9 (Sunday)

Once we left, we headed for the place we stayed last year to have breakfast. This place had a Motel and restaurant across the street.
     

We spent most of the day driving on small roads. One of the towns along the way was French Lick. We went through it on one of our previous trips, and the Jeep Jamboree last year was also in French Lick. One of the craziest things we saw on the way through was this entrance to a road. It was a narrow one lane road that drove up...

Then back down to the main road...

But had to get on the more major 2 lane roads to make it back in time. Along the way we where going close to Bridgeton, IN, so I wanted to drive through when the Covered Bridge Festival was not there. I got a shot of the inside of the bridge and then out the window of the bridge of the river.

We did find a couple of more curves along the way :)

Along the way, the odometer hit 118,888. We thought that was pretty cool, so I had to get a shot of it.

We finally made it back to my house. The trip was 2800 miles, and when I pulled in the garage the Main odometer read 119,111. I thought we couldn't have done that if we tried :)
