We got everything packed and ready to go. We walked out the last time and I said I was not locking the door as I was sure we would be wanting to come back in to wash our hands. She wasn't sure why, so I told her I guess you forgot about the puppy. Gary my neighbor got a new puppy and we where going to go see it. She said, "The Puppy"! So we went to see her for a few minutes. She is cute. Then we finally left about 9:45. I drove a block and thought I wanted to put some gas educative in on the next fill up. We turned around and went back and got it.

Back on the road again. We tried to get gas in town, but the stations truck was just leaving as it had just refilled their tanks, so I did not want to fill up after that. Instead we just checked the tire pressure and were on the road again. We decided to head to the Mississippi and go down it to get to the South. We took the back roads and went through the small town of Amboy, IL. We found a park with all these cool wood carvings made from tree stumps that were in the park. These were actual stumps still in the ground, well, except for the ones laying on their side.

As we were leaving town, we saw this train and thought it was cool and took a shot.
