Saturday - Sunday - Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Friday - Saturday - Sunday Day 7 (Friday Morning)The Motel also had a restaurant across the street, so we ate breakfast there. It was all good :) Once we finished it, we took some shots of the hotel. |

We then headed straight for the Gap as it was now much nicer than last night. Along the way there, we had to stop at Wheelers.
While walking around the shop I picked a shirt I liked, and Pat told me she would get it for me for my birthday :)
We left and where on our way again.
As we crossed over the bridge by Fugitive Damn, we snapped a shot.
We made it to the gap and through it 5 times today with only slight drizzle, which meant the top stayed down (9 total trips during our visit). It was even sunny most of the time. Pat drove to the Gap the first 2 times through. We then stopped at the Cross Roads of time and switched.
I drove the next two times. We stopped at the Cross roads again. She drove the last time through as we started heading to Mammoth Cave. We stopped the last time through and I took a panorama shot off both sides of the overlook.
We found some excellent roads (Very Gap like) on the way to Mommoth. We thought they would be fun to drive back on when coming back from the Gap in September. |
